Impression postbacks allow an advertiser to obtain a signal (postback) every time an impression is tracked for their ad. NativeX supports impression postback URLs but they are not available to configure using Self-Service. Contact us if you would like to request an impression postback URL be setup for your campaign(s). See tracking URL parameters for a list of available parameters to be passed to your impression postback URL.
By default, NativeX only calls an impression postback URL when the ad impression is explicitly known. Publishers sometimes do not explicitly call our impression tracking feature so we cannot guarantee those ads are served. Thus, the impression post-backs will be a sub-set of the impressions actually generated for your ad. Generally, our large banner (interstitials) and video ads have nearly 100% of the impressions tracked whereas discovery walls and small icon-based ads do not.
Starting Jan 1st 2017, Apple will be requiring all submitted apps to have ATS enabled. This will prevent any non-SSL (non-HTTPS) impression tracking URLs from being sent from iOS devices. In order to retain client-side impression functionality, advertisers should move to support receiving SSL requests and update any templates they have for iOS tracking links to use HTTPS.
